Well… this ain’t that. We keep it simple, straight to the point, and mildly entertaining (hopefully). Gen Z delivers when we promise. So, why are we here? This website is designed for B1-level English learners who want to level up their skills through extensive reading with strong thematic connections. We’re not here to dictate how you should learn—we know everyone has their own way of doing things. But if you find that learning English works best when it’s a means rather than an end goal, then congrats, you’re in the right place.
Here, we firmly believe that words don’t live in isolation—they thrive within contexts. Certain words belong with certain topics, and language sticks better when it’s linked to content that actually interests you. The themes we’ve picked? Carefully selected for their ability to broaden your horizons while equipping you with academic vocabulary that still sounds natural in daily life. Most of the words in our “Mini-Dictionary” section have been carefully selected through text analysis of materials related to our chosen themes. Word frequency was a key factor in building our glossary-like resource. And since we’re a team that has battled the Turkish education system, we also wanted to make ÖSYM's language exam questions a little easier for students in Türkiye. That’s why we analyzed the past five years of ÖSYM exams, identifying the vocabulary and themes they favor. You may have nothing to do with ÖSYM or any upcoming exam, which is perfectly fine as we do not restrict our website to language department students aged 17 and 18 in Türkiye. The content you’ll be exposed to is relatable for everyone and every age group! The “Contents” section may or may not include every word from our Mini-Dictionaries, but you’ll encounter plenty of them in texts, activities, and tasks. Not every word will be explicitly highlighted, but trust us—you’ll be immersed in them naturally.

Let’s address the elephant in the room. You’ve heard about AI’s rising reputation, and you probably know how 21st-century technology has made people lazier—more reliant on the internet, AI tools, and whatever else makes life easier. And yeah, we could say we were too lazy to do this on our own and let AI do all the heavy lifting… But nah, just messing with you.
Here’s our hot take: Technology isn’t the enemy of creativity—it’s a tool. Sure, it can make people passive if used mindlessly, but when used wisely, it’s an asset. We don’t fear new tech just because it’s uncharted territory. We embrace it, adapt to it, and make it work for us. AI isn’t replacing human creativity and reasoning—it’s enhancing it. And that’s exactly what we did when creating this website. We didn’t just use AI. We collaborated with it. We guided, curated, and refined every step. And our hero in this process? ChatGPT.
